The Unwashed are a skate punk band out of Edmonton, Alberta. Formed when a group of musicians whose day jobs relied on fair weather found themselves twiddling their thumbs on rain days, those jam sessions eventually coalesced into the band’s current lineup. Since their first show in October 2017, they’ve played 28+ shows across Alberta — the Starlite Room, the Buckingham, BLAKBAR, the Palomino in Calgary, the Legion in Jasper — sharing stages with OFF!, Dayglo Abortions, Pulley, Bootlicker, and Citizen Rage.

The band runs two of Edmonton’s most anticipated annual punk events — Yuletide Bonanza (8 years running at the Starlite Room) and the Punk Rock Mountain Sideshow.
